Constitution Day Activities at Montpelier

September 17th is National Constitution Day.  What better way to celebrate than to spend the day at Montpelier, the home of James Madison and the very spot where he imagined the constitution.  There will be picnic foods for sale, plus an evening presentation by the Quantico Marine Corps Band and a spectacular fireworks display.

There are also new exhibits in the mansion itself showing the Madison’s and their guests at dinner, new furnishings have been added to the mansion and a new video takes visitors through James Madison’s creations of the framework of the Constitution.  For more information go to www.montpelier.org.
